My favorite meal inspired this look!

Hey guys, welcome to today’s episode of StyledbyKeema. I’m pleased to tell you that with every post, I get more and more interested in writing out to you, the fashion, not-so-funny parts of me.

Oohh lalaa

You’d wonder what invites a plate of food into our Modest Fashion circle. Is Keema sharing dinner tonight? Lol…why not read on?

As we might know, GTBank food and Drinks festival starts today 28th April down to 1st of May. What a blessing! Nope, not a Gt fan, their hidden charges could make a healthy bank account lazzdent. Actually all banks in Nigeria, such that I’m beginning to have more faith in Piggy banks. But hey boo, food is involved here and I heard you’d get good food for under 1k! Meaning I can break my kolo and carry my last 1k there and be well fed? Maa shaa Allah!

Food was the attraction, definitely. I LOVE food so much and I want to share this part with you guys, but this is a fashion blog! Where’s the link?
Now, guess who decided to do a dress up inspired by her favorite local meal?! The dots are linked already.

Okurrrrr, moving on, I’m stuck between pounded yam and semo as my favorite swallow, the major part of the meal but fortunately, they look physically alike with the Ivory colour. That ticked! The main part of my look will be Ivory too.

For soup, I love efo-riro with orisirisi (chai, orisirisi with seven lives has various colours o). How do we achieve that? African print! African print comes with an infusion colours, so all I have to do is get one with the mix of the major colours I can peep from my efo-riro, and we’re good to go.
That’s how I spotted my sister’s Hitarget Ankara fabric from where I was conceptualizing and I was like “ah haa, it’s just about time you felt the good of the sun” 😁
Hijab is to dress as swallow is to soup. It completes the equation . Takes me where we’d put all of that colour without being too loud, Gele! Now, I’d never tied myself a gele but today, I’ve got to prove that I’m the smart girl I tell myself I am πŸ˜„. I’ve seen my friend, Reh do it a couple of times so, I just tried it and put the twirl. Trust me, I got it at the first try! Thank you for the round of applause πŸ˜„.
Efo riro- ticked.

Now for my “animal” ( pardon my Yoruba spirit), I like chiken, shallow fried to light brown and dipped in sauce..yum! That’s a side-piece and it has to be the handbag πŸ‘œ
Chicken – ticked!

We’ve gotten it all..yaay! Our core values of modesty are checked as well. Maa sha Allah!

Who called me back? The black? That’s malt naa, to wash the food down to it’s home. I empty my malt contents into a mug before drinking and the colour I see is Black 😁. For the record, I’ve ported to Beta Malt now ‘cos its the most suitable in this beautiful economy (if you get the drift πŸ˜‰). Thank you!

I hope you enjoyed going on this dress-up trip with me.
