Salaam Alaykum warahmatullah guys, it’s been quite a minute. How’s Sawm going? I do hope you are investing in the blessings of Ramadan.
True I’ve been away for a while, but you guys do know that I’d go any length to not skip any blog day. I had been in an uptight situation, but Alhamdulillah, Allah says that those who have trust in Him shall not be left desolate. I strongly believe that and I’m in a much better place. Now I’m back and never to go AWOL anymore in sha Allah!
This week, I will be discussing various ways to style your Abaya and look excellent in it.
We all know that Eid is quickly creeping up on us (in sha Allah), and we have various tempting Abaya designs all over. However, with improper styling, we could end up with a “what I ordered versus what I look like in it” picture. No member of this community deserves such, so read on and pick your style.
A. Open Abaya
An open Abaya as name implies is one that has an opening in the front or side(s) of it. While it leaves you in the need of an inner garment, perks of it is that it is very versatile and can be styled in so many ways.
i. Abaya + bodycon inner garment + (heels) (sneakers)

ii. Abaya + palazzo + (heels) (sneakers) (clogs)
iii. Abaya + skinny jeans/pants and top + (heels) (boots) (sneakers)

iv. Abaya + loose gown + (flats) (heels)

v. Abaya + jumpsuit
I must add that this ankle length game is really lit and I’m totally in for it!

B. Closed Abaya
Closed Abaya is more like a gown with little or no opening. This oftentimes serves as a more minimalistic piece of clothing as you do not have to pair it with extra garments to achieve modesty and comfort. While this is less versatile than the open Abaya, it could also be styled beautifully in a number of ways, mainly by accentuating properly.
ii. Go monotone
The power of monotone in subtle colours is often underrated, but I’d recommend that you give it a try!

In sha Allah guys, this is all we have for now. Let’s discuss, what style is your favorite? I’d recommend you go for a style that suits your personality, and I’d also encourage you to go outside your box. I hope I don’t leave you in a conflicting state of mind. I’d be at the comment section waiting to get your opinion about these styles.
